A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

Hi, I'm Dory Levine. My background with food began at an early age. Coming from a family of four kids and both parents working, everyone pitched in around our house. We were required to cook the family dinner once a week. My mother bought me my first cookbook and I was fascinated with ingredients and how things could come together. My Dad taught me the value of good fresh ingredients and shares my love of cooking. He started the family food business and is still my cooking hero and best assistant chef. Later down the culinary road, I went to the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, California. It was an excellent school and led to quite a few job opportunities. I had a difficult decision to make, but with the sweet persuasion from dear old Dad, I returned to Pittsburgh under one condition…I would take over the family business. Dorian's Catering was born!
